In a year of turbulence, political change and election speculation, the Centre for Social Justice stood firm in its mission to put social justice at the heart of British Politics. Between 2023 – 24 we:
- Published 23 reports across work and welfare, education, family, housing and community, addiction, and modern slavery
- Advanced some 220 nation-changing recommendations, 65 of which were included in the general election manifestos of the main parties
- Drove £1 billion investment to policies to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged
- Engaged with 400 frontline charities to bring their voices into national policy making
- Directed £785,000 of philanthropic funds to frontline charities through the CSJ Foundation
- Administered £2.9 million support through the trusts and foundations we administer via our subsidiary company, Smith Square Trading
