Centre for Social Justice at the Labour Party Conference

Monday 26th September 16:00 - 17:00

Meeting Room 9, Jury’s Inn, Liverpool

This year sees the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) at the Labour Party Conference running a special event on how we can build thriving places to tackle loneliness. Entrance is free.

Today, about three million people are regularly or always lonely, with the most deprived communities suffering more than any other. CSJ polls show that fewer than 30% of people feel their community is free of loneliness and social isolation. Despite this, many communities saw a revival of communal spirit throughout the pandemic. So how can we build thriving places to alleviate loneliness?
