Romilly Dennys
Head of Partnerships (Philanthropy)
Back in 2012, I worked with the CSJ as a media consultant and knew I wanted to join the team one day.
The CSJ’s experience-led research and advocacy of the most exceptional and inspiring grassroots charities made a huge impression.
My career took me to work with the Rt Hon Sir Iain Duncan Smith MP at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as a Special Adviser, before roles at the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
I later became Executive Director of the Startup Coalition – a campaign group for tech startups – and Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Deliveroo.
Despite the years that passed, my desire to work with the CSJ remained strong, especially following the establishment of the CSJ Foundation.
It’s incredibly fulfilling to have the opportunity to join the CSJF team and support and magnify the incredible work being done by grassroots charities.
Something you might not know about me
Before Westminster and Whitehall, I discovered my love of campaigning on the streets of Buenos Aires, where I volunteered for Greenpeace (despite my broken Spanish!)
