Jo Heldreich

Operations and Finance Director

I joined the CSJ in 2016 after 10 years in Social Housing and 6 years working in not-for-profit audit whilst I trained to become a Chartered Accountant. Having spent my early years working alongside some of the most brilliant small charities, the CSJ seemed like the perfect fit to continue with my love for the small charity sector, working with and championing all those inspiring people that work so hard on the frontline to tackle the root causes of poverty and ultimately transform lives.

The unique position that the CSJ holds in being able to take the voices of the grassroots into the corridors of power to influence real change had me hooked from the off, and I feel privileged to be part of the CSJ team – a group of truly brilliant, passionate and energetic individuals who make all this happen together.

Something you might not know about me

When not armed with a calculator I can be found with my other love - my violin - which I have played all my life and studied at university. Though a good spreadsheet may have won me over in the career battle, my love of music remains and I still play regularly with Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra.
