Imogen Graham

Regional Portfolio Manager (North)

I joined the CSJ Foundation because of its commitment to giving small charities a voice. Having spent the start of my career working in the charity sector, I experienced how often grassroot charities are supporting some of the most vulnerable in society and finding solutions to social challenges, yet do not have the platform or networks to highlight their work. I am delighted that as part of the Portfolio team I am able to be part of the CSJ’s small charity commitment.

Prior to CSJ, I managed the Leeds Building Society Foundation, overseeing all aspects of grant making, strategy and governance. Our grant making predominately supported charities that help those in need of a safe and secure home across Yorkshire and the North East, many of whom are members of the CSJ Alliance. It is fantastic that I get to continue those relationships through my work of the CSJ, as well as building new connections with inspiring, grass root charities across the North region.

I am also a trustee at Yorkshire Funders, a membership charity that runs events, training and networking for funders across the region and promotes best funding practice.

Outside of work I live in Leeds with my partner and two dogs.

Something you might not know about me

I trained as a yoga teacher in 2019 and taught as a yoga teacher pre-Covid. Last year I finished a diploma in Yoga Therapy, a type of non-linear yoga that can help manage a range of different mental and/or physical health conditions. I am passionate about yoga for all and yoga in the community.
