The Centre for Social Justice is currently working with the Illegal Money Lending Team, Money and Pensions Service, and a range of debt advice agencies, including StepChange, Money Advice Trust, Christians Against Poverty, Citizens Advice, Community Money Advice, and the Institute of Money Advisers to investigate how debt advisers can support the victims of illegal money lenders.

Illegal lending ruins lives and many victims struggle to speak up. We want to know how debt advisers currently support clients and what they think could be improved. We’re running a call for evidence until the 7th February.
