The Social Resilience Award
‘The Social Resilience Award’ will be awarded to an outstanding, innovative and effective organisation dedicated to forming social resilience in individuals affected by either addiction, serious personal debt, or both.
Charities must show they are either helping those dependent on drugs and/or alcohol to fully recover from their addiction, to become abstinent and to support them to sustain their recovery. Or charities must show they are dedicated to helping people and families facing serious personal debt to acquire the skills to manage their debt and to learn to budget and sustain their finances in the longer term.
Mental ill health and homelessness can be connected to both addiction and serious debt, and all work in these areas will be considered as part of this award. All applicants must demonstrate how their model is sustainable and clearly outline their organisations’ impact through qualitative and/or quantitative data.
Applicants should also be able to explain how their model is replicable and/or scalable, demonstrating that it can be potentially used to help people become socially resilient from all over the UK
