The Education, Employment and Skills Award
‘The Education, Employment and Skills Charity Award’ will be awarded to an outstanding, innovative and effective organisation dedicated to helping children and young people facing educational failure.
We want to see how their lives are improved and how they are helped to access education and opportunities that allow them to build an independent life and reach their full potential.
We want to see people struggling with employment issues helped into the workplace, along with the support necessary to sustain and develop their skillset and employability. Mental ill health and homelessness can be connected to educational failure and all work in these areas will be considered as part of this award.
All applicants must demonstrate how their model is sustainable and clearly outline their impact through qualitative and/or quantitative data. Applicants should also be able to explain how their model is replicable and/or scalable, and can be potentially used to help people all over the UK realise their full potential.
