Carolyn joined the CSJ in September 2020 as a Senior Researcher in the Financial Inclusion Policy Unit. She is leading research on social housing policy with a particular focus on housing affordability and increasing state-led public housing supply.
In her previous role as Homelessness Services Manager for Holy Trinity Brompton, Carolyn led one of London’s largest capacity day centres offering wrap around support services for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. She also coordinated a seasonal night shelter and developed a new framework for service provision, partnership working, and volunteer engagement for use by network organisations delivering homelessness services.
Prior to that Carolyn worked in financial services for MetLife. She earned her BA in English Literature from Davidson College in North Carolina, USA.
