My work journey has been varied having worked in the retail, technology, and charity sectors before moving to politics. I started my political journey by volunteering for Bristol City Council and working for a Bristol based housing regeneration project. My drive to work in politics was to help create a society that serves everyone, but most importantly those in poverty, by providing opportunities and a level playing field for the most disadvantaged.
After having worked in the halls of Westminster for three MPs I decided that it was time for a change. I had followed the work of the CSJ for some time and seen the life changing impacts that their work has. The CSJ is standout in its work of learning from charities and taking those learnings and turning them into policy recommendations for Government, and it is a privilege to contribute to the excellent work they do.
