About the CSJ Awards
The annual CSJ Awards recognise effective poverty fighting groups from across the UK. Cash prizes of up to £10,000 are awarded to charities, small voluntary groups and other local projects that display innovation and effectiveness in addressing the causes of poverty, turning lives around and reversing social breakdown.

Now in its sixth year, the CSJ Awards have brought over 64 winning voluntary groups to the attention of the national media and policy makers and a total of £223,250 has been given out to date. Winners are announced at the Awards ceremony, which is attended by politicians, celebrities and the media.

See 2010 Awards for details on how to apply. The deadline for applications is 22 February 2010. Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony in July.
