Richard, formally an aviation photographer, took over the Source Café after a working with the Source Cafe's sports outreach team. The Cafe works with over 600 young people in Aldershot each year.

While being shown around the cafe in Aldershot, Richard explained how the area has the highest level of licensed premises per person for any town in the country. He also describes a steady rise in family breakdown, crime and failure in school.

The Source Café is the only place open in the evening for young people in the whole of Aldershot that doesn't serve alcohol. It is really popular on the nights it opens. The Café also provides after schools tea of pizza, salad, chips as well as homework support.

The cafe also has a cinema room, pool and table tennis and it also has every single game stations.

Richard's wife helps out part time in running the cafe which feeds primary school children three times a week.

Chris gets the chance to talk with those whose lives have been transformed by the work that the Source Cafe does. The young people described the sense of belonging and the hope the Cafe gives them for the future.
