Internships

The CSJ offers an 11 month voluntary internship. Limited spaces are available for September 2010 onwards.
An internship at the CSJ is voluntary with Zone 1-2 and lunch expenses covered. This allows us to create an opportunity for people wishing to explore work in politics where we are not able to offer a salaried position.
Interns are involved in a number of projects from the Alliance, the Awards, events and publicity and provide support to our research team. The roles are varied and provide exposure to the inner workings of a think tank developing a ground breaking policy agenda with national profile.
Ideal volunteer
We receive volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds. The majority of successful applicants in the past have had good Bachelors degrees of 2:1 or higher.
All applicants will have the requisite visas to volunteer in the UK.
Interviews
We conduct interviews throughout the year allocating places for volunteers on a first-come first-served basis to successful applicants.
How to apply
Please apply to volunteer with a Cover Letter and CV to chris.bullivant@centreforsocialjustice.org.uk
Applications are processed on a first-come first-served basis, so we recommend a prompt application.
The 11 month programme is the only voluntary work experience scheme we offer. We do not offer short term placements.
Notes
The internship with the CSJ is voluntary and does not form an employer/employee contractual relationship between the CSJ and the volunteer.
