Alliance
Putting social justice at the heart of British politics.
The CSJ Poverty Fighter’s Alliance ensures the insights of small organisations working on the ground with Britain’s most vulnerable are taken on board by policy makers in central and local government.
Tens of thousands of people working and volunteering in charities, or as carers, across the UK, know first hand the challenges faced by people struggling on low income, to overcome debt, addictions, to come to terms with family breakdown, and the complexity of issues that keep people trapped in poverty.
The Alliance of diverse groups across the UK tackling head-on a variety of issues ensure these insights are used to inform policy makers of all parties that legislation would encourage, not dampen, the efforts of these organisations.
If you are an organisation effectively fighting poverty we want to learn from your experience and ensure your voice is heard in Westminster and local government.
Join the CSJ’s Poverty Fighter’s Alliance to:
- Develop an ongoing, reciprocal relationship with policy makers in Westminster
- Contribute evidence to our public hearings: bringing the hidden lives of Britain’s poor into the light of day and media attention
- Feature on the Centre for Social Justice website as an effective and exemplary agent of change
