Policy Group due to report in December

The Social Justice Policy Group, housed at the Centre for Social Justice, is working on interim reports due to be published in December. Assessing the 'state of the nation' on six pathways to poverty, the CSJ research body is working hard to assess the situation on the ground before devising effective policies.

The six separate reports in December will give a comprehensive picture of addiction, family breakdown, educational failure, consumer debt and economic dependency and the role the voluntary sector is playing to ameliorate the lives of many.

The policy groups are made up of academics, lawyers, executives and practioners in the field, of any party political persuasion or none. The remit of their December reports is to present the facts.

Hearings have been taking place on the Parliamentary estate in the last two months, talking to organisations and experts from across the country.

If you would like to participate in the process visit www.povertydebate.org
